"A number of years ago, a young Swiss photographer and his new bride made a honeymoon journey through France. In that romantic country they found that Eros attended even the humblest of hotel rooms. The photographer, René Groebli, chose to record this beginning event in their lives and in doing so, produced a series of sensitive photographs that are a tour de force in good taste."
